Sailor and I: Though love (Single, 2012)

Sailor and I – Though love (Single, 2012)

“At the end of March 2012, Stockholm band Sailor & I launch their new release – the ‘Tough Love’ EP.
Sailor & I made their debut in spring 2010 with the EP ‘John Franklin’, dedicated to the great navigator and explorer Sir John Franklin. Six months after the John Franklin release, they launched their follow up, ‘Indian Summer’.
The ‘Tough Love’ EP was produced by Swedish producer and multi instrumentalist Alexander Sjödin, who also wrote the songs.
The recording session took place at the legendary Cosmos Studios in Stockholm, Sweden. To give the tracks a touch of luxury and decadence, Sailor & I brought in a string quartet from LA. The sound and vibe of the ‘Tough Love’ EP, was inspired by a mix of new and old acts like Noah And Whale, Bon Iver, Aztec Camera, Brian Wilson and Roxy Music” (Facebook)
