ShiShi: Close to you (Ep, 2012)
La última aventura sonora de Tom Lugo (Patetico Recordings) la protagoniza junto con su esposa: Jamie Lugo. Ambos son los responsables de “ShiShi (石獅 (Imperial Guardian Lion) is a indiepop group formed in 2012 in the suburbs of Philadelphia.They blend stylish beats, pop synths, shoegaze guitars to create a refreshing and unique approach to indiepop songwriting” (Facebook).
ShiShi mantiene ese cruce algo bastardo entre Shoegaze y sintetizadores que podríamos glosar en una banda como Garbage (evidentemente, los antiguos Garbage, no los reencarnados en este 2012) o para ser más coetáneos, con gentes como Magic Wands.
El Ep de debut para este nuevo proyecto de Lugo, un inquieto personaje inquieto de la escena musical de Philadelphia, se llama Close to You.

English translation: The latest adventure soundtrack Tom Lugo (pathetic Recordings) the stars with his wife, Jamie Lugo. Both are responsible for “Shishi (石狮 (Imperial Guardian Lion) is a group formed in 2012 indiepop in the suburbs of Philadelphia.They stylish blend beats, synth pop, shoegaze guitars to create a refreshing and unique approach to songwriting indiepop” (Facebook .) I think it is appropriate to include them in the post today because bear some resemblance to the other protagonists of the day, Magic Wands, as they have in common as this hodgepodge of styles, something that bastard cross between Shoegaze and synthesizers that could gloss on a Garbage band like (obviously, the old Garbage, not reincarnated in this 2012). Simple introduction to the duo and great expectations for this new project of this character restless Philadelphia scene.
