Liechtenstein: Fast forward (2012)

Si hay alguna banda que pueda ajustarse como un guante a la definición de Retro-Pop o Vintage-Pop, ésa puede ser sin duda Liechtenstein (qué difícil resulta escribir este nombre!!).
Las suecas son una banda ya conocida por TJB y acaban de publicar el que es su segundo álbum, en Fraction Discs, este Fast forward (2012). En él las chicas se dejan llevar de nuevo por la ruta que marcaron The Shop Assistants o Black Tambourine en su momento, o Dum Dum Girls, Las Robertas o Vivian Girls hoy en día. Pop sin florituras, Fuzz-Pop si queréis, guitarras más o menos sucias, voces limpias y angelicales melodías vocales. Temas inmediatos y arrebatadores y toda esa mezcla de “gamberrismo-moderado” y pose cool que se les presupone a muchas bandas de chicas. Este Fast forward (2012), por cierto disco con una preciosa portada, es una lógica evolución sobre Survival strategies in a modern world (2009), su anterior largo y Passion for water (2010), el Ep de transición entre ambos. Evolución lógica y contenida, por otra parte. Girl power!!
